Hallo, ich bin Sueli de Melo, eine Latin Sängerin und Songwriterin mit Erfahrung auf kleinen und großen Bühnen. Meine Auftritte können in fünf verschiedenen Sprachen gestaltet werden, darunter Portugiesisch, Spanisch, Italienisch, Englisch und Deutsch. Mein Repertoire umfasst eine Vielzahl von Genres, von “American Oldies” (sowohl Balladen als auch Country- und Partylieder) bis hin zu Schlager und “Musica Latina”.
Ich passe mich gerne an verschiedene Veranstaltungen an, ob klein oder groß, ruhig oder lebhaft, und sorge immer für Unterhaltung mit Leidenschaft, Seele und ansteckender Freude!
Hello, I am Sueli de Melo, a Latin singer and songwriter with experience on small and large stages. My performances can be arranged in five different languages, including Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, English and German. My repertoire includes a variety of genres, from “American Oldies” (both ballads and country and party songs) to pop songs and “Musica Latina”.
I like to adapt to different events, small or large, quiet or lively, and always provide entertainment with passion, soul and contagious joy!
Brazilian singer Sueli de Melo lived her passion for music and languages since childhood, with the support of her father, who was a painter, but also liked to make music in different languages. Sueli sings songs in five languages during her performances.
The interest in poetry and literary works was instilled in the open-minded musician by her mother, who had already published her own book of poetry. Sueli studied journalism in Rio and worked for various newspapers and press departments. In her free time, she attended some music schools and courses and performed as a singer at small events in Rio.
Family has a fundamental importance for Sueli de Melo. When she was in her mid-20s, she suffered a great blow when her father died suddenly.
A year later, she met the Austrian Markus Schweighofer in her home country and came to Europe through love. The birth of her daughter Victoria then made the family happiness perfect.
Since the loss of her father, she has made the heartfelt decision to follow her music career. This way she can live her deep love for music and honor the memory of her father, who was also her best friend.
Making music her main profession was only possible a year ago. Since then, her career has recorded great successes in a very short time, starting in August 2022 with the program opening of her idol the Latino artist Semino Rossi.
Sueli, with her infectious joy, is often compared to the great Shakira. She writes and composes not only her own songs, but also for other artists.
She already has many plans for her music career and as she says herself: she firmly believes in it.
